CELEBRATION OF TONY BELLAMY

I try not to mourn so much the passing of a life that should be celebrated. Tony Bellamy died at the age of 61 on Christmas day he was a member of the band REDBONE. I recently rediscovered the song COME AND GET YOUR LOVE on Sirius radio….I remembered liking it as a youngster. Awesome song!!!

Many good thoughts and prayers!!

RIP – Lolly Vegas, 70, was a songwriter when Jimi Hendrix talked to him about embracing his mixed blood ancestry. So he formed Redbone, named after Indian slang meaning “half-breed,” – and hit it big w/ “Come & Get Your Love,” in ‘74.
